Hey there! I’m Anna Pearl — but most folks just call me AP.

I’m a singer-songwriter from the heart of State College, Pennsylvania, and honestly, I’ve been making music for as long as I can remember.

​

Over the years, I’ve taken the stage solo and teamed up with my talented buddy Sam Christensen — from cozy hometown gigs to lively festivals and everything in between. I basically grew up playing shows and talent events around State College.

​

Fun fact: I was accepted into Berklee College of Music my senior year of high school (yes, that Berklee), but I decided to take a different path and attend Penn State instead, where I earned my BA in Anthropology in 2019. 

​

Since graduating, I’ve been sharpening my craft. These days, I’m diving headfirst into recording my original music. My latest single, “My Woman Buys Me Flowers (And Smokes Her Cigars)” will be out on all streaming platforms Friday, September 19, 2025 — give it a listen and tell me what you think once it’s live!

My sound is a mix of indie-folk feels, Irish and Scottish vibes, and the occasional disco groove — think Florence and the Machine meets Adele, with a dash of Billy Joel and Coldplay.
