Hi, I’m Anna Pearl, but most people call me AP.

 

I’m a singer-songwriter from State College, Pennsylvania, and I've been making music for as long as I can remember.

 

Over the past few years, I’ve gained experience performing both solo and with my good friend, Sam Christensen.

I grew up playing shows, talent events & festivals in State College. My senior year of High School, I was accepted into Berklee School of Music in Boston, but I decided to instead attend Penn State, where I graduated in 2019 with my BA in Anthropology.

 

Since then, I have honed my solo & group performances. I was in a band called Midstate Select. Now I am working on recording my original songs for everyone to hear. My most recent release is: "Rotten To Its Core", which is on all streaming platforms! :)

Piano is my first love, but I mainly perform on acoustic guitar. I also play a bit of ukulele, banjo, and mandolin. I’m inspired by indie-folk, Irish and Scottish tunes, and a good disco groove, with influences ranging from Florence and the Machine to Adele, Billy Joel, and Coldplay.

Ultimately, I’d love to write music for films and share my songs with the world.
